Mobile Phone Rubberized for Protection

SaY Mobile Phone

Any idea how much your cell phone takes a beating. If you're not sitting on it, it's getting scratched in your pocket, and if it's not getting scratched you're dropping it in ur bedroom or classroom. The SaY concept phone's rubberized exterior should be able to handle just about anything else you can throw at it. If the SaY was an actual product, it would also feature an angled keypad for better ergonomics, a 4-megapixel camera, and a pair of stereo speakers that are intentionally designed to resemble a dead cartoon character. A nice touch...I think

Fresh and bliss, SaY mobile phone expresses an open-minded attitude. It comes in three cheerful colors. The rubberized body is contrasted with a slightly angled glossy keypad that fit perfectly in the talking position. On the back a 4-mega pixels camera and a pair of stereo speakers are arranged in a graphical and eye-catching manner. The design is elegantly minimal, fun and strikingly modern.

Nokia 888 - A New Concept Cellphone

Designed By:
Tamer NAKISCI,
industrial designer,
Mimar Sinan University of Fine Arts,
Istanbul / Turkey

This is Nokia's answer to Apple's i-Phone.

The Nokia 888 is a bracelet-like concept mobile phone. Its so compact that you could bend it, roll it, mould it to any shape & even strap it like a wrist watch.

The design of the Nokia 888 communicator is highly adaptive. It can change its form according to your needs during the day. It can sense your touch and teach itself (artificial Intelligence).

The Nokia888 will possess E-motions… It means electronical motions. You can send and receive e-motions to friends. You can send a heart shape to your girlfriend, so her telephone turns into an icon of heart.

Technologies employed:

It uses:
  • Liquid Batterries
  • Speech Recognition
  • Flexible touch screen
  • Touch sensitive body cover

Its potential features include an alarm clock, PDA, GPS, phone, push email receiver, digital wallet and, of course, jewelry.
It won the Benelux design contest in 2005. It indeed is the cellphone of the future.
